Ann Barrow

Ann Barrow, beloved and founding member of Freelance Artist’s Network for ten years, died unexpectedly on July 8, 2005. She is deeply missed.

Ann illustrated over 20 children’s books, including Red, White and Blue Goodbye, published by Walker & Co. in 2005.
Her career began in 1977 and has included book jackets, children’s magazines, greeting cards, giftware, and portraiture.

Her specialty was drawing realistic children and she captured the spirit and beauty of each subject, whether the child’s picture appeared on the pages of a children’s book or became a family heirloom portrait.
